Set on the stunning South Pacific island of Samoa, contestants ranging in age from 23 to 62 are deprived of basic comforts and must build their own shelter, light their own fires, gather their own food and fend for themselves. A private investigator, a professional cricketer, a criminal lawyer, a firefighter and a magician are among the 24 contestants give up all creature comforts in a bid to win Australian Survivor. Their bodies are pushed to the extreme, competing in epic and physically demanding challenges, while mentally they must navigate their way through cunning and strategic gameplay. Faced with extreme temperatures and fierce tropical storms, contestants are stripped to their core – and only one will emerge triumphant. The ultimate winner will walk away with a life-changing experience, half a million dollars and the coveted title of Australia’s Sole Survivor 2016.

Champions V Contenders

Australian Survivor returns with a premise the game has never seen before: Champions vs Contenders. It is a case of David verse Goliath, where 12 everyday contestants are pitted against 12 players who are champions in their field, be it mental, physical or social. Featuring people from all walks of life, Australian Survivor sees a Takeaway Delivery Rider taking on Olympic Medallists and an Interior Designer going up against an Astrophysicist. For 50 days, these castaways are forced to compete against each other aiming for the same goal: to outwit, outlast and outplay each other to be the ultimate Sole Survivor. Running on little sleep, little food and possessing only the clothes on their back, just one castaway will survive to take out the ultimate prize of $500,000.

Blood V Water

Iconic Aussie castaways will go head-to-head with players from Survivor US, Québec, South Africa, New Zealand and Finland, for the chance to be crowned Sole Survivor and win a cash prize of $250,000. Over 16 days, these 14 players will battle it out on the beaches of Samoa and attempt to Outwit, Outplay and Outlast each other.
